Cherie is a dreamer.  She believes in power of dreams and of possibilities.  As a certified professional coach, she works with clients to identify their purpose and make their dreams come true. “It is my joy and honor to support clients in reaching their personal and professional goals, living congruently and authentically”. Her clients include people in transition, students, entrepreneurs, athletes, educators, stay-at-home moms, executives, medical professionals individuals, and groups from all walks of life.

Cherie encourages her clients to identify their real lives; stop doing things that deplete their energy, tap into those things which give them joy and fulfillment, to access the source and unleash their power, step into wholeness – the integration of personal, professional, community, and spiritual self.  It’s hard work, but the rewards are great.

Cherie Buckner-Webb, founder and principal of Sojourner Coaching brings a broad breadth of experience to the practice.  Her extensive international business background includes positions in program management, diversity consultation, sales and marketing, business and organizational development, operations, and e-commerce.  Her expertise includes cross-cultural collaboration, facilitation and coaching for system wide change. In addition to her on-going work in the corporate environment, Cherie works with institutions of higher education in the development of diversity curriculum and training.

Cherie is a respected motivational speaker who also uses her voice to raise awareness about diversity, inclusion and human rights topics.  She is in high demand for her presentations addressing diversity in the business, community and religious context. 

Cherie’s credo is “leave a legacy” and to that end she donates countless hours to a variety of community activities. She is the winner of numerous awards including the 2005 Jefferson Award for Public Service, in acknowledgement of her history of commitment to the community and devotion to human rights and diversity.

In addition, Buckner-Webb is an accomplished gospel, jazz and blues vocalist. Cherie has recorded with jazz great Gene Harris, released her debut solo CD, "By His Grace" and received the Award for Excellence in the Arts at the 2004 State of Idaho Governor’s Awards in the Arts Celebration.

Cherie engages her clients and audiences and consistently earns exemplary reviews for her presentations, keynote addresses, training sessions, and consultations.  She is a woman in harmony with her spirit, joyful on the journey.
